Driving from Perth
Yallingup is around a 3-hour drive south of Perth. It’s a cruisy, scenic drive down the coast. If you’re travelling locally, driving is the best option. We recommend having a car to get around over the weekend, as the area is quite remote.

Flying Domestically to Margaret River Airport (BQB)
You can also fly directly into Busselton Margaret River Airport, whether you’re coming from Perth or interstate. Flights are pretty limited and only run from select cities on certain days, so driving from Perth is still our recommendation.

From Margaret River Airport, it’s about a 40–50 minute drive to Yallingup, so it’s best to organise a hire car, taxi or private transfer as there aren’t any public transport options.

To be close to the celebrations, we recommend staying within about 30 minutes of Yallingup, including:

• Yallingup (preferred)

• Dunsborough (preferred)

• Quindalup (preferred)

• Eagle Bay

• Naturaliste

• Bunker Bay

We recommend booking accommodation as early as you can. February is a busy time in the region and places tend to book out quickly, especially if you’re travelling in a group.

For the wedding day, we’ll be organising buses to and from Sundance Lodge, with a few pick-up points around Yallingup and Dunsborough. More details will be shared closer to the date.

Welcome Drinks — Sundance Lodge
For welcome drinks, we recommend pre-booking taxis or private transfers (though not essential), as transport can be a bit limited in the region, especially during peak summer evenings. If you’d prefer to drive, there will be parking available at Sundance Lodge.

Wedding Day — Sundance Lodge
We’ll have buses running to and from Sundance Lodge, with three pick-up and drop-off spots across Yallingup and Dunsborough. We’ll share final stop locations and timings closer to the date. When the time comes, please let us know when you RSVP if you’re planning to use the bus so we can get an idea of numbers. Parking will also be available at Sundance Lodge if you’d prefer to drive.

Recovery Party — Venue Details to come
Same as welcome drinks — we recommend pre-booking taxis or private transfers. Parking will also be available at the recovery party.

Uber is available in the area, but it can be unreliable and wait times can be quite long.

February is late summer in Yallingup. Expect dry, hot, breezy days and warm evenings, with temperatures typically between 25–35°C.

Wedding Day — Sundance Lodge
The wedding day will be entirely outdoors.

Recovery Party — Venue details to come
The recovery party will be a casual outdoor pool party.

Your Invitation will clearly state whether a partner or plus one has been included. Only those named on the invitation are invited to attend.

While we love your kiddos, we kindly request that all three events be child-free celebrations.

We understand newborns are a little different, so please let us know!
